A running theme within the Sustainable Development Goals created by the United Nations is a guide to inclusive development, youth and women empowerment. African youth deserve a chance to participate in the growing economic opportunities throughout Africa. All countries realize that they cannot achieve their nations' economic growth and development plans without bringing up the youth and women who are integral parts of the citizenry.
The majority of the next generation of Africa, face hardships and challenges that their predecessors never encountered the youth and women in sub-Saharan Africa face harsher hindrances to their economic development because of the high poverty levels within those societies. In Liberia, the decades of civil unrest compounded with the ebola crisis when the country was rebuilding has had devastating effects on the Liberian youth. The Covid-19 pandemic also disproportionately affected the poor in Ghana and Liberia.

In an effort to alleviate some of these challenges

we have developed Mipri Academy to focus on youth development and build employable skills in our recruits. Not only does the academy act as a core of our service delivery, but it serves to build practical skill sets and an applicable knowledge base for our recruits. What these candidates learn in our training program benefits them beyond employment with Mipri.
We combine training with job placement to increase incomes and job experience, creating more stable career-oriented individuals. The Mipri Academy conducts quarterly recruitments, training roughly 80-100 women and youth a year at no cost to our recruits. We can increase this to bi-monthly recruitment with your assistance, reaching 150-200 women and youth annually.
