Mipri was one of the 13 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to be awarded a Mercy Corps-Liberia Social Business and E+ Employment Grant in Liberia for the 2018/2019 financial year after having gone through a rigorous vetting selection system.
Mercy Corps-Liberia is one of the major non-governmental organizations (NGO) operating in the social financial services sector. The grant which falls under the organization’s sub-program, entitled, “Promoting Sustainable Partnership for Economic Transformation (PROSPECTS),” is aimed at improving the operations and boost their viability of participating companies. The grant was provided by the Swedish Government, through its Embassy, accredited to Monrovia, to move small Liberian businesses to the next level so that they are able to offer employment opportunities for some of the country’s serious-minded youth.
